The proposed project development objective (PDO) is to enhance integrated landscape and seascape management, improve livelihoods of local beneficiaries in targeted areas around protected areas, and conserve globally significant biodiversity. 
The project will apply an integrated approach of transformative, inclusive, climate-resilient and biodiversity-centered landscape and seascape management together with the first-time ever in Madagascar’s Lemur Bond operation.

Below breakdown reflects the added child country projects as well as an increase of the budget for the global coordination child project.

Local CSOs and CBOs in landscapes-seascapes around the world access grant financing and technical assistance, including capacity development and knowledge sharing to maintain and enhance their socio-ecological resilience, well-being and socio-economic conditions for global environmental benefits.

To empower and support civil society organisations (CSOs) and community-based organisations (CBOs) in Least Developed Countries to implement high-impact and innovative initiatives that deliver climate change adaptation and environmental benefits in an inclusive manner.
